Stand Up For MA Children
Join me in supporting real change. Help us create a pathway out of homelessness for these youth by supporting StandUp for Kids and the Walk for MA Children.
Homelessness is a chronic problem and it hits our youth in a devastating way. Each week we see teens who have run away from home due to abuse, neglect, or from simply not being accepted for who they are -- did you know that up to 40% of homeless youth identify as LGBT? When youth have no other caring adults to turn to, StandUp For Kids is there.
StandUp For Kids combines street outreach with a youth center in Main South to provide warm meals, laundry & new clothes, transportation, and most importantly, someone who cares.
Help me support this wonderful organization. I'll be walking 15 miles on Saturday, April 30 as part of the larger Walk for MA Children event to spread awareness and raise necessary funds for the youth of Worcester. Please consider sponsoring me and joining the fight against homelessness. Thank you!
